What will you be doing?
A prestigious position has arisen working at Watford Football Club Training Ground in London Colney Hertfordshire joining a Small but dedicated team. Working 4 on 4 off NIGHTS ONLY 1900 - 0700 with ample opportunity for overtime. You must be confident in Lone working and be an extremely good communicator. You will be exposed to regular client contact throughout your shift. A love of Football would help but is not mandatory but a keen willingness to work in a fast paced environment is a must. You will be performing regular foot patrols and monitoring CCTV and alarm systems. Previous Night shift experience is essential. Previous applicants need not apply. You must have at least 3 years regular front line Security experience due to the remote location of the site a drivers license is essential as is regular reliable transport. This role would ideally suit someone who is either wanting a change from a current night role or someone who has previous experience of working within a Sports Ground setting. You will also be expected to assist with the running of Club events working alongside an external Stewarding Company. Please note TCFM do not sponsor individuals without a current Right to work and you must be in possession of the relevant clearance. SIA Guarding / Door Supervision license is essential. CCTV License is an advantage but training can be given to the right candidate.
- Working as the Site Security Officer
- Create a secure environment, in which our customers, their employees, and visitors are able to feel safe
- Promote confidence with every customer, colleague, and stakeholder through effective decision-making, communication, and professional security standards
- Follow Assignment Instructions, Risk Assessments, and customer policy
- Respond in an effective manner to incidents, alarms, and events, escalating to the Emergency Services, the Customer, and the Security Operations Centre, as appropriate
- Complete planned rota and shifts to provide security cover
- Utilise the relevant site security systems to detect risks and potential security breaches.
- Utilise TRACKTIK to complete patrols and reporting of incidents.
- Promote a culture of safety, awareness of H&S risks, and accident/ near miss reporting.
- Prevent unauthorised access to site, whether by a person, vehicle, or object.
- Respond to unplanned events or incidences promptly
- Work in collaboration with the customer’s FM team and complete relevant tasks
- Engage with training & development as required
