Site Cleaning Supervisor – Hands-On Role
£15 per hour | Full-time | 35 hours per week
TC Facilities Management has an exciting opportunity for a hands-on Site Cleaning Supervisor to join our team at a busy motorway / truck stop location in Lymm.
This is a working supervisor role, meaning you will lead from the front — supervising the cleaning team while also carrying out cleaning duties yourself, including washroom and toilet areas in a high-footfall environment.
Location & Hours
š Lymm, Cheshire – WA13 0SP
š Own transport required (site location & shift times)
Hours: 35 hours per week
Shift pattern: 5 days out of 7 on a rota
Includes evenings, weekends & Public Holidays
š· Pay: £15.00 per hour (£27,300 per annum)
About the Role
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being active, visible, and involved in the day-to-day operation, while supporting and motivating a small team.
You will be responsible for maintaining high cleaning and hygiene standards across the site, ensuring customer areas — particularly toilets and washrooms — are clean, safe, and well presented at all times.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and support the cleaning team on site
Carry out hands-on cleaning duties, including toilets and high-traffic areas
Ensure daily cleaning standards and schedules are met
Lead by example, setting high standards of cleanliness and professionalism
Monitor service delivery and address issues promptly
Act as the main point of contact between the client and site team
Ensure health, safety, and compliance standards are followed
Train, support, and engage team members
Handle day-to-day staff issues with support from HR
Respond quickly and professionally to customer concerns
What We’re Looking For
Previous cleaning or facilities supervision experience (preferred)
Comfortable with hands-on cleaning in a busy, customer-facing environment
Strong leadership and communication skills
Reliable, organised, and able to adapt to changing demands
A positive, practical attitude and willingness to get stuck in
